For the most current 5 years, certified copies of Vermont marriage records are available for purchase directly from the State Department of Health. Marriage records over 5 years old are available from the State Archives and Records Administration. Vermont marriage records are also available from the City/Town Clerk's Office in the municipality where the marriage occurred.
Certified copies of Vermont marriage records are available by mail order for $10 with a check or money order made payable to the Vermont Department of Health, along with a self-addressed envelope and a completed application sent to the following address:
