Mississippi Marriage Records Search
Mississippi marriage records are not open to the public at the state level and can only be accessed by the registrant, immediate family members, legal representatives or persons with legitimate and tangible interest.
For marriage records since January 1, 1926, copies of Mississippi marriage records are available for purchase from both the Mississippi Vital Records' Office and the Circuit Court Clerk's Office in the county where the marriage license was issued. Marriage records since July 1, 1938 to December 31, 1941 are only available directly from the County Circuit Court Clerk.
Certified copies of records of marriage are available by mail order for $17 with a check or money order made payable to the Mississippi Vital Records, along with a copy of a valid photo ID, a self-addressed stamped legal size envelope and a completed application sent to the following address:
