Michigan Marriage Records Search
For marriage records since 1867 to the present, copies of Michigan marriage certificates are available for purchase from both the Michigan Vital Records Office and the County Clerk's Office in the county where the marriage license was issued. Marriage records prior to 1867 are only available directly from the County Clerk's Office.
Certified copies of Michigan marriage records are available by mail order for $34 with a check or money order made payable to the State of Michigan, along with a completed application sent to the following address:
