Idaho Marriage Records Search
Idaho marriage records are not open to the public for 50 years after the event at the state level and can only be accessed by the registrant, immediate family members or legal representatives. Idaho marriage records are also managed at the county level.
For marriage records since May 1947 to the present, copies of Idaho marriage certificates are available for purchase from both the State Vital Records Office and the County Recorder's Office in the county where the marriage license was issued. Marriage records prior to May 1947 are only available directly from the Сounty Recorder's Office.
Certified copies of Idaho marriage records are available by mail order for $16 with a personal check or money order made payable to the Idaho Vital Statistics, a copy of a valid government-issued photo ID with signature along with a completed application sent to the following address:
Vital Records Unit
Bureau of Vital Records and Health Statistics
P.O. Box 83720
Boise, ID 83720-0036
