Colorado Marriage Records Search
Colorado marriage records are not open to the public at the state level and can only be accessed by the registrant, immediate family members, persons proving a direct interest, a legal representatives or other legal party.
Colorado marriage records are managed at the county level and certified copies of Colorado marriage licenses are available for purchase directly from the County Clerk and Recorder Office in the county where the license was issued. The CDPHE Vital Records Section can only provide a certified verification of marriage records. Marriage Verification are available for the years 1900 to 1939 and 1975 to present.
Certified copies of marriage verifications are available by mail order for $17 with a check made payable to the CDPHE Vital Records Section, a copy of ID and proof of eligibility along with a completed application sent to the following address:
