Unhappy Trying To Find My Sons Father

I Am Trying To Find My Sons Father. It Appears That He Disappeared. We Had A Court Date 3 Weeks Ago And He Didn't Show Up. The Judge Put A Warrant Out For His Arrest But When The Cops Went To His House They Said That He Didn't Live There Anymore And That I Would Have To Find Him Myself. I Have His Old Address, His Social Security Number And I Believe He Is In Bronx Ny. Could Someone Help Me. All I Want Is My Child Support. This Has Been Going On For The Past Three Years. Help Please......

Probably going to have to use other methods to locate him-especially if he knows he skipped a court date and there is a warrant issued. Its too soon to run any kind of database search and Im sure he is keeping a low profile so as too stay out of them.

Your going to have to get information from those that associate with him- work, relatives, friends, acquaintances, etc.

A P.I in your local area will be your best bet. However what are you going to do when you find him? just like a judgment in court, nobody can make anybody actually pay its merely on paper or in the system. Only thing you can hope for is that you get his employment, financial information and levy.

Unhappy Dont Know

See thats the thing, i know where his mother works but she won't tell me anything. As a matter of fact, I haven't spoken to her for 2 yeas now. I also dont know where he is working in the bronx. I wish i had the money to hire a PI, but i don't. I even tryed to find some info online from a web search that was 30 dollars and they didnt even have his name. The lady at the court house said that i would have to get a address on him and go to the bronx police station. Thats a differant matter the bronx is so big i wouldnt even know where i should start. I wish that i had a cop in my family to get a address.

Default Looking for your son's father

Hope your luck has changed and you have found him? If not, have you tried any child support groups, agencies etc. to help you? I know they can network across the US and keep tabs on him when he does pop up. This can help you get any money he might be getting from unemployment, state agencies (welfare, etc.) or any state and tax refunds. This can be helpful when someone is living "under the radar". Good luck!!!
